HYPE team tokens unlocked and cashed out approximately $165 million, while the aid fund repurchased about $364 million

Odaily News: According to MLM monitoring, since the HYPE team tokens began unlocking in December 2025, 4.93 million HYPE have been allocated to team members, valued at approximately $270 million at current prices, accounting for 0.493% of the total supply.

Of these, 1.19 million HYPE have been sold through public markets, cashing out approximately $32.5 million; another 3.14 million HYPE were transferred to over-the-counter (OTC) trading platforms, valued at approximately $132 million at the time of transfer. In total, roughly 4.33 million HYPE have been sold, amounting to about $165 million, with an average monthly sale of approximately 540,000 HYPE, worth around $20.6 million.

During the same period, the aid fund repurchased approximately 9.8 million HYPE, investing about $364 million in total, with an average monthly repurchase of roughly 1.23 million HYPE, worth about $46 million. The repurchase pace is more than twice the selling speed of current and former team members.
