Odaily News, according to Gate data, the USD/JPY pair dropped approximately 100 points in the short term before slightly rebounding, currently at 159.61. The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) fell over 15 points in the short term, now at 100.2. Earlier reports indicated that the U.S. Treasury has notified banks that it may intervene in the yen market on Friday and has asked them to prepare for "future actions."
