铠侠预计NAND供需紧张将持续至2027年
Odaily Odaily Planet Daily News Japanese memory chip maker Kioxia Holdings has announced that it expects net profit of 1.27 trillion yen for the July-September 2026 quarter, up approximately 31-fold year-on-year. The company stated that NAND flash memory demand continues to rise, driven by growing investment in AI data centers.
Kioxia also announced a share buyback program of up to 800 billion yen (approximately XX billion USD), planning to repurchase up to 30 million shares, representing roughly 5.5% of issued shares. In addition, the company plans to implement a 3-for-1 stock split on October 1.
According to company data, data center-related sales in the April-June quarter surged more than fivefold year-on-year to 1.1747 trillion yen. As AI server demand tightens memory supply, Kioxia's NAND product prices rose about 70% last quarter, and the company expects the supply-demand tightness to persist through 2027. (Nikkei)
