韩台股市飙升助亚洲新兴市场股指创17年最大涨幅
Odaily Planet Daily News: Asian emerging market stock indices posted their biggest one-day gain in over 17 years on Friday, as stocks in South Korea and Taiwan surged and concerns over artificial intelligence-related spending eased. The MSCI Asia Emerging Markets Index rose about 7%, and the MSCI Asia Emerging Markets Technology Index gained over 13%, both marking their largest single-day gains since late October 2008. However, both indices are still down 5% and 14% respectively so far this month. Microsoft and Amazon reported strong earnings last night, and their outlooks also alleviated market worries over massive AI-related capital expenditures.
"We believe Microsoft's guidance for continued capital expenditure growth and expected positive free cash flow by fiscal year 2027 may help ease concerns about AI infrastructure stocks," Nomura analysts wrote. (Jin Shi)
