CZ responds to controversy over Giggle Academy selling donated tokens: Charities should not bear the responsibility of token economics management

Odaily News, CZ posted on X platform, expressing agreement with Spigg's view on Giggle Academy selling donated tokens, and stated that Giggle Academy is not a crypto team, but is developing a free education app, and managing cryptocurrency or token supply is not its expertise. Giggle Academy cannot determine how selling a certain amount of tokens would affect prices, or how many tokens should be sold or retained each month, so it has chosen to periodically sell most of the token value to cover expenses.

Crypto projects should not donate large amounts of tokens to charities or other organizations that could affect market prices, expecting them to manage token economics on their own. Project teams should be responsible for their own token supply management. He has previously provided BNB to Giggle Academy multiple times, and Giggle has sold or exchanged it for fiat currency to cover operational expenses. BNB developers and holders have no objection to this, and the community is proud to support educational initiatives.

CZ stated that regular donations would be welcomed, but he will not commit Giggle Academy or himself to any specific actions, nor provide additional thanks or market interaction.
