Suspended, Ready crypto credit card affected by issuer Kulipa's shutdown

Odaily News Itamar Lesuisse posted on X that issuer Kulipa suddenly shut down without any prior notice to Ready. Self-custody wallet Ready (formerly Argent) has closed its crypto credit card program on Wednesday, with eligible card subscriptions receiving automatic refunds. User assets remain unaffected due to Ready wallet's self-custody nature. Kulipa built card programs for approximately 20 crypto wallets and fintech companies, and its shutdown has also impacted Solana wallet Solflare, which said on Tuesday that its card has also stopped working. Both Ready and Solflare's cards were designed to deduct funds directly from users' wallets at the time of purchase, so Kulipa did not hold any customer balances at the time of its shutdown.
