Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Surges 9%

Odaily reports that, according to data from MSX.COM, the rally in the U.S. stock semiconductor sector has further expanded, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rising to 9% and the Nasdaq Composite Index currently up 2.6%. Micron Technology (MU.O) surged over 16%, AMD (AMD.O) gained more than 15%, and Intel (INTC.O) rose over 14%.
