Base Co-founder: Base Ecosystem Fund Supports Global Developers; Most Funded Teams Had No Prior Connection to Coinbase

Odaily reported that Base co-founder Jesse Pollak posted on X, stating that at the inception of Base, he told the team and Coinbase that they must do everything possible to support developers, as developers will create products that bring the world on-chain. One key approach is the Base Ecosystem Fund, which helps teams succeed by providing funding and deep engagement. Most of the teams supported by the fund had no prior connection to Coinbase, come from all over the world, and are exploring multiple fields, including finance.
