Odaily reported that Bitcoin News posted on platform X, citing CoinGlass data, that while major cryptocurrencies saw little change over the past 24 hours, price volatility surrounding the Federal Reserve meeting triggered approximately $286 million in liquidations, involving over 87,000 traders. Of this, long positions accounted for $186 million in liquidations, while short positions accounted for $100 million. Bitcoin alone saw around $57 million in liquidations, with losses nearly evenly split between longs and shorts. The roughly 2% price swing led to the liquidation of both leveraged long and short positions. After the leverage on both sides was cleared, Bitcoin is now trading above its level before the Fed announced its decision to hold interest rates steady.
