Odaily Planet Daily News: Citrini analyst jukan posted on platform X stating that South Korean securities firm Meritz Securities expects Samsung to restart an "early execution plan" for the first time in ten years. The scale of this plan could be comparable to its aggressive shareholder return plan in 2017, including increasing dividends, not deducting M&A expenditures when calculating free cash flow, and fully returning 50% of free cash flow. The plan could be announced within the coming weeks.

jukan also stated that Samsung agrees with the view that the recent stock price decline has made its stock undervalued, and is expected to first implement stock buybacks and cancellations aimed at enhancing shareholder value.
