Odaily Planet Daily News WEMIX has released an analysis of the cause of the WEMIX security incident and a response update. On July 26, ownership of two smart contracts was transferred to an unauthorized third party. The affected contracts are DIOS and AMA. In a single transaction, the attacker deployed a malicious contract, took control of these two contracts, and executed nine rounds of flash loan and swap transactions, resulting in the illegal issuance of 5.2255 million WEMIX. WEMIX stated that this incident did not involve an intrusion into WEMIX's internal systems or the leaking of administrator private keys. Instead, the attacker exploited a vulnerability in a publicly disclosed smart contract on the chain.
