Odaily Odaily Planet Daily reported that Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated that after a comprehensive review, Aave will phase out 50 asset reserves with lower adoption rates across multiple deployments. Additionally, Aave is orderly shutting down its deployments on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, and Aptos, involving another 25 asset reserves. As part of this process, 21 expired Pendle PT tokens will also be phased out to support new maturity products. Overall, these changes involve $98.1 million in supply and $15.6 million in debt. These measures are part of the new Aave risk framework and technical asset listing framework, aimed at reducing Aave's economic and technical risk exposure.
