Zcash Founder Claims ZEC Supply is Instantly Verifiable, Denies Possibility of Secret Minting

Odaily Zcash founder Zooko Wilcox posted on X platform stating that some users believe the ZEC supply may have been secretly minted, and that confirmation would require waiting for the Ironwood migration to complete or even months or years. However, this view is incorrect.

Zooko Wilcox said that users can now verify the current ZEC supply locally on their own computers, with data showing the total ZEC supply stands at 16,848,458.
