With the schedule for the second half of the year confirmed by the National Assembly, the legislative process will be accelerated as much as possible. It is reported that South Korea is considering incorporating legal provisions related to AI Agent payments into the "Digital Asset Framework Act" to address the future trend of AI becoming the primary subject of small, high-frequency payments. Recommendations include providing legal authorization for establishing regulatory frameworks such as customer identity verification, allocation of payment liability, foreign exchange reporting for cross-border transactions, and programmable payment standards for AI Agent payments.
