Uzbekistan Launches First Tax-Free Crypto Mining Zone, Tax Exemptions Valid Until 2035

Odaily reports that Uzbekistan has officially launched its first tax-free crypto mining zone, the Besqala Mining Valley.

Miners in this zone can enjoy tax exemptions until 2035, but are required to pay 1% of their revenue as a fee and cover electricity costs at double the standard rate. The relevant legislation was signed in April this year. (Cointelegraph)
