SK Hynix: No Signs of AI Investment Slowdown, Will Solidify Leadership in HBM Sector
Odaily Planet Daily News SK Hynix stated during an analyst conference call that it has not yet seen any signs of a slowdown in artificial intelligence investment, and expects AI infrastructure investment to remain robust even after 2027.
The company stated that long-term supply agreements will not lead to oversupply. These agreements are typically for a 5-year term, with terms varying by client. SK Hynix indicated that it will further solidify its leading position in the HBM sector through these long-term agreements.
SK Hynix expects bit shipment growth in the second half of the year to be higher than in the first half. The product sales mix impacted the average selling price in the second quarter. The company is currently on track to begin mass production of HBM4E starting in 2027.
