Hyperliquid developer code integration revenue has reached $90 million, with MetaMask and others joining

2026-07-28 14:50
Odaily Planet Daily News Hyperliquid has become a decentralized exchange used by many traders for perpetual contract trading. Its Ethereum-compatible module, HyperEVM, directly connects to the self-developed HyperCore blockchain, allowing applications such as wallets and exchanges to provide services like perpetual contract trading based on its shared liquidity.

Currently, hundreds of developers are deploying or integrating through Hyperliquid's builder codes system, including MetaMask, Phantom wallet, and South African exchange VALR. Data from Flowscan shows that related developers have generated approximately $90 million in revenue so far.

Since October 2025, MetaMask has offered users self-custodial perpetual contract access within the wallet and charges a 0.1% builder fee. VALR CEO Farzam Ehsani stated that the exchange previously built its own perpetual contract infrastructure but chose to integrate Hyperliquid's order book due to insufficient liquidity and trading volume.
