On Tuesday, the NASDAQ 100 fell 1.6%, putting it on track to enter a correction phase (typically defined as a decline of at least 10% from a recent peak) at the close. The index has taken just 38 trading days to fall back to this technical threshold, starkly contrasting with the previous correction in March, which took over 100 trading days to retrace 10% from its October 2025 high.
