NVIDIA reportedly set to increase prices on GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits

Odaily Odaily reports that NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has issued a price increase notice to its board partners, affecting GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits. It is understood that when NVIDIA sells products to its board partners, it packages GPU chips with VRAM chips to form kits, which partners then install onto their own designed PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) to produce custom graphics cards. With the price of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits set to rise again, AIB (Add-in Board) manufacturers are expected to have no choice but to raise graphics card prices accordingly. (Benchlife)
