This brings the total decline from their late May historical highs to about $2 trillion. Among them, Tesla fell 15%, and Alphabet fell 7.1%.

Investor concerns are mounting over Alphabet raising its capital expenditure guidance and Tesla increasing its capital spending plans, with the uncertainty surrounding the return on investment in AI infrastructure becoming a key focus.
