Odaily Planet Daily News: Greeks.live macro researcher Adam @Greeks.live posted on platform X that options expiration data on July 24 shows 19,000 BTC options expiring, with a Put/Call Ratio of 0.89, max pain point at $64,500, and a notional value of $1.2 billion; 125,000 ETH options expiring, with a Put/Call Ratio of 1.25, max pain point at $1,875, and a notional value of $230 million.

Bitcoin briefly broke above $66,000 this week, but the upward process was difficult. The $65,000 to $80,000 range was a high-volume trading area from the beginning of the year. He stated that the key remains to observe when funds will flow into the crypto space. The US stock SpaceX continues to decline sharply, and the storage sector is experiencing severe volatility.

From the main options data, 4% of this week's options are expiring, and the expiration indicators have barely changed from last week. The market is oscillating with low volatility and limited trading opportunities, with overall IV falling to the 35% level. BTC's GEX distribution is concentrated at $65,000 and $72,000, while ETH's GEX distribution is concentrated in the $1,900 to $2,200 range. The distribution is more dispersed than last week, with more traders attempting to buy the bottom using shallow out-of-the-money options over the past two weeks.

This week, ETH's Put/Call Ratio has fallen to 1.29, but the proportion of put options has exceeded 1 for six consecutive weeks, the longest streak on record. He indicated that this shows strong demand in the put options market, while traders selling puts to buy the bottom are also willing to participate. Cryptocurrencies have experienced an eight-month bear market with limited trading opportunities. From a cyclical perspective, there should be some rebound in the second half of the year.
