Odaily Odaily reports that crypto venture capital firm 1kx stated that on-chain protocol fees decreased by 33% year-over-year in the second quarter. Among them, DEX fees dropped by $625 million, a decline of 57%, primarily driven by Meteora, Raydium, and PancakeSwap, which collectively generated $1.5 billion in fees in the first half of last year. Blockchain and MEV fees fell by 40% to $362 million; Launchpad fees decreased by 57%, with Pump.fun accounting for nearly half. Perpetual contract and prediction market fees grew by 22% year-over-year, driven by edgeX and Hyperliquid; Polymarket's fees for the single quarter approached $100 million.
