Digital fintech company Cashea completes $100 million total funding round, led by FinSight Ventures

Odaily reported that digital fintech company Cashea announced the completion of two funding rounds totaling $100 million, including a $60 million Series B round led by FinSight Ventures, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst, Plug and Play, endowments from multiple U.S. universities, and Latin American investors, as well as a $40 million Series A round consisting of $20 million in equity and $20 million in debt financing, led by Spice Expeditions, with debt capital support from Architect Capital.

Founded in Venezuela, Cashea provides digital financial services primarily through its mobile application. Due to long-standing constraints in the local bank credit market and persistent consumer demand for financing, Cashea aims to offer more convenient payment and credit solutions for consumers and merchants through its technology platform.
