Kimi K3 tests 3D modeling: costs less than half of Claude Fable 5, close to Fable 5 in raw style generation
Odaily reported that Kimi's official Twitter account shared the results of a hands-on 3D modeling test, where it was tasked with replicating the "Millennium Falcon" from Star Wars in both pixel art and raw styles under the highest computing power mode, for comparison with Anthropic's Claude Fable 5. The test results show that Kimi K3's generation speed is slightly slower than Fable 5, but offers a clear cost advantage.
In the first test for pixel art style, Kimi K3 took 1 hour and 11 minutes at a cost of $14.5; Claude Fable 5 took 49 minutes at a cost of $21. In the second test for raw style, Kimi K3 took 1 hour and 17 minutes at a cost of $19.3; Claude Fable 5 took 1 hour and 5 minutes at a cost of $47.2. Looking at the results, Kimi K3's detail processing capability in raw style 3D modeling is close to the level of Fable 5, but there is still a noticeable gap in pixel art style tasks.
