The United States has struck Iran for the seventh consecutive night; Iran warns of a potential shift to a full-scale offensive and destruction phase
Odaily Planet Daily reported that the U.S. Central Command stated that at 3:00 PM EST on Friday, it launched a seventh consecutive night of strikes against Iran, aiming to further weaken Iran's military capabilities. Iran's Supreme Leader advisor, Rezaei, previously stated that if the U.S. continues its attacks over the next two to three days, Iran will end its previous strategy of deterrence and proportionate retaliation, shifting to a "full-scale offensive and destruction" phase. This phase could involve directly targeting U.S. military bases and personnel overseas. He stated that Iran had previously exercised restraint to avoid regional conflict spillover, but the "miscalculation" by the U.S. could escalate the situation. Rezaei also called on regional countries and governments, including Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, and the UAE, to prevent the U.S. and Israel from expanding their operations. He claimed that Washington's strategy of "pursuing war and negotiations simultaneously" has failed, and Iran will intensify its counterattacks in the coming days.
