Iran's Supreme Leader's Military Advisor: U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding Is Dead in All but Name
Odaily Planet Daily News On the 17th local time, Mohsen Rezaei, the military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, stated that the United States has violated the terms of the U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding, rendering it dead in all but name. Rezaei said that U.S. forces are launching large-scale attacks on Iran's southern infrastructure using hybrid warfare methods. With the U.S. launching another attack, Iran has expanded the scope of the war in accordance with prior warnings, according to Rezaei. He added that if the U.S. continues its attacks in the coming days, Iran's armed forces will move beyond the current "deterrence and retaliation" phase and enter a "full-scale offensive and destruction" phase, with U.S. overseas bases and soldiers becoming direct targets.
