Analysis: Number of Leveraged ETFs Listed in the US Surpasses 700, More Than Double the Count at the End of 2024

Odaily Odaily reports that The Kobeissi Letter posted on platform X, stating that the number of leveraged ETFs listed in the US has reached an all-time high of 700, which is more than double the count at the end of 2024. Among these, over 400 are single-stock leveraged ETFs.

Furthermore, in the first half of 2026, leveraged ETFs and inverse ETFs accounted for 31% of all new ETF issuances in the US, up from 22% for the full year of 2025. In June alone, 117 leveraged/inverse ETFs were listed, representing nearly half of the new US ETFs launched that month.
