The Pentagon has banned the release of the F-35 fighter jet project report for the first time in over 20 years.

Odaily reported that the U.S. Pentagon has, for the first time in more than 20 years, prohibited the public release of the annual report on the F-35 fighter jet program. The report, prepared at the request of the U.S. Congress, has been published annually since 2005. This year, classified information not intended for public disclosure was discovered during the review process for the first time. The F-35 program has faced repeated criticism over budget overruns, delays in engine deliveries, postponed software updates, and premature wear and tear on components.
