Silver rose 0.9% to $58.914/oz

In the forex market, the USD/CNH exchange rate fell 0.04% intraday to 6.7706. The USD/JPY fell 0.06% intraday to 162.1.

In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) rose 0.34% intraday to 6,257.45 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) fell 0.02% intraday to 10,491.5 points; and the German DAX 40 (GER40) fell 0.01% intraday to 25,070.5 points.

In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 0.53% intraday to $80.25 per barrel. Brent crude oil rose 0.87% intraday to $85.93 per barrel.
