ENS Co-founder Nick Johnson Submits Proposal to Establish New Security Committee

Odaily Planet Daily News: Two weeks after vetoing the renewal proposal of the security committee, ENS co-founder Nick Johnson has submitted a new on-chain execution proposal to establish a new security committee, with a term lasting until July 16, 2028. The committee will be controlled by members elected through EP 6.50, and voting launched on the same day. As of the time of the report, there were 712,350 votes in favor, 0 against, and 66,730 abstentions, surpassing the quorum threshold of 1 million tokens, with a total of 779,080 votes cast. Previously, ENS co-founder Nick Johnson used his 80% voting power to veto the renewal of the security committee.
