Iranian local government reports exchange of fire in the Strait of Hormuz

Odaily reports, according to the Hormozgan provincial government, an exchange of fire has occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, with explosions heard in the province's coastal counties, Bandar Abbas, and islands in the Persian Gulf. Multiple explosions were reported in Sirik County, Hormozgan Province, possibly related to the nearby waterway clashes. Sirik is located at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.
