US Stock Market Pre-Market Highlights: NVIDIA's 12-Layer HBM4 Has Entered Mass Production and Shipment, New York State Plans to Suspend New Large-Scale Data Centers

Odaily reported that before the US stock market opens, investors need to focus on the following market financial news:

1. The three major US stock index futures are mixed. Dow Jones futures fell 0.64%, S&P 500 futures fell 0.22%, and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.42%.

2. International oil prices rose collectively. WTI crude oil futures rose 2.53% to $80.118 per barrel; Brent crude oil futures rose 3.95% to $86.594 per barrel.

3. International gold and silver spot prices edged higher. Spot gold prices rose 0.68% to $4,027.90 per ounce; spot silver prices rose 0.50% to $57.91 per ounce.

4. The three major European stock indices all declined. The UK's FTSE 100 fell 0.42%, France's CAC 40 fell 0.71%, and Germany's DAX 30 fell 0.94%.

5. IBM fell over 20% in pre-market trading, as the company's preliminary Q2 revenue fell short of expectations due to clients cutting back on software and infrastructure spending.

6. Samsung is reported to have completed the tape-out of Tesla's autonomous driving chip AI5, which will use a 2nm process. Mass production for vehicles may not be achievable until mid-2027.

7. SK Hynix is reportedly has officially begun mass production and shipment of its 12-layer HBM4 for NVIDIA's next-generation "Vera Rubin" AI platform, with the product entering the "ramp-up" phase.

8. New York State will temporarily suspend the construction of new large-scale data centers consuming 50 megawatts of power or more, with the ban lasting up to one year and taking effect immediately.
