Korean Central Bank Expects AI-Driven Chip 'Super Cycle' to Continue, Dismissing Peak Concerns

Odaily Planet Daily News The Bank of Korea released a report on Monday stating that the global semiconductor market remains in a state of supply shortage, and expects the current “super cycle” driven by artificial intelligence (AI) to continue for some time. The bank used this report to dismiss investor concerns that the chip cycle has peaked.
In its report, the Bank of Korea noted: “Although semiconductor demand has surged significantly driven by AI infrastructure investment, the pace of supply expansion has been relatively slow.” The bank added that there are no signs yet of the semiconductor cycle easing. (Jin Shi)
