Russian man kidnapped in Bali, held for 30 hours and forced to hand over cryptocurrency accounts

Odaily Planet Daily News: A 41-year-old Russian man (initials AI) was kidnapped in Bali and forced to hand over his cryptocurrency accounts. While driving home on his motorcycle after work, the man was stopped by a black Nissan Serena. Two masked assailants handcuffed him with plastic zip ties, covered his head, and took him to a two-story house. The man was held captive for approximately 30 hours, during which he was subjected to violent treatment such as being kicked and punched. The assailants forced him to reveal his cryptocurrency account passwords, took his phone, and used keys taken from his motorcycle to enter his residence. They took a second phone to further gain access to his accounts. At around 4 a.m. on July 4, the man was dumped near Udayana University Hospital in Jimbaran and received medical treatment.
