Moonbeam will officially shut down on July 31, Wormhole reminds users to transfer assets as soon as possible

Odaily News: Wormhole has announced that the Moonbeam network will officially shut down on July 31, 2026. During the transition period, the Moonbeam parachain will continue to operate, but will cease operations after July 31.

Wormhole stated that after this date, Portal and Wormhole contributors will be unable to assist in recovering assets remaining on the Moonbeam chain, and advises users to cross-chain transfer their external assets through official Moonbeam channels before the deadline. Previously, Moonbeam announced its exit from the Polkadot ecosystem and will migrate GLMR tokens to the Base network at a 1:1 ratio.
