Bitget Wallet: Global Users Surpass 100 Million, Payment Volume Exceeds Trading Volume for the First Time

Odaily reported that Bitget Wallet has announced its global user base has officially surpassed 100 million, with payment volume exceeding trading volume. Currently, the issuance of Bitget Wallet Card has exceeded 150,000, covering over 50 countries and regions worldwide. Cumulative card spending in the first half of 2026 surpassed $33 million, more than doubling compared to the second half of 2025, with growth in emerging markets reaching 416%. Meanwhile, nearly half of new users are using scan-to-pay in emerging markets. Notably, QR Pay cumulative transaction volume in Vietnam grew fourfold in half a year; bank transfer spending in Nigeria increased by over 80% in half a year, with the number of payment transactions rising by over 60%.

Bitget Wallet stated that over half of its users come from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Stablecoins are being used by local users as dollar-denominated accounts for daily savings, receiving payments, and spending, indicating that the focus of crypto wallets is shifting from trading to everyday finance.
