Odaily reported that a source familiar with the matter stated that foreign exchange transactions involving the dollar-won pair, related to South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix's US listing, are expected to take place around July 15. SK Hynix launched its US stock offering on Monday, aiming to raise 43 trillion Korean won (approximately $28.16 billion), and has already secured subscription commitments of up to $7 billion from major investors.
