ENS DAO Proposes Delegating 5 Million ENS to Multi-Stakeholders to Restructure Governance
Odaily Planet Daily News ENS community member AvsA has proposed a draft suggesting that the approximately 5 million ENS tokens held by the DAO be allocated to various governance stakeholders through a multi-delegation contract. This aims to alleviate the current issue of voting power being highly concentrated in the hands of a few representatives. The proposal plans to withdraw tokens from the DAO treasury and select candidates from stakeholders such as users, integrators, developers, traditional domain name service providers, and the governance community based on preset criteria, delegating approximately 1 million ENS equally to each group. Delegates will only receive voting rights and will not have the authority to dispose of the tokens. If they fail to participate in voting for six consecutive months, their delegated tokens will be reclaimed and redistributed.
