Iran's Foreign Ministry: Agreement Reached on Mechanism Arrangements for Safe Passage of Ships in the Strait of Hormuz
Odaily reported that a spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the work of the negotiating delegation has concluded, but the technical team will continue its work. The spokesperson said that mediators from Qatar and Pakistan will release a document containing general points, which will be formally submitted as the outcome document of the agreement reached during the 18-hour negotiations. An agreement has been reached on the mechanism arrangements for the safe passage of ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Preparatory work for launching final agreement negotiations has been discussed. Iran and the United States have discussed issues such as oil sales licenses and the unfreezing of Iranian assets, making good progress. (Jin Shi)
