伊朗: Distrustful of the US, Preparing for Two Scenarios

According to Odaily, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated in a recent exclusive interview that the ceasefire issue in Lebanon is a red line for Iran, and it will not make concessions on related matters. Regarding US-Iran relations, Rezaei said Iran does not trust the United States and will not normalize relations with it. Rezaei emphasized that the US and Iran are currently in a state of hostility, and Iran is preparing for a potential new war. "We do not trust what Americans say but act based on our own assessments."
