Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister: US Must Ensure Israel Adheres to Memorandum of Understanding
Odaily News, local time 19th, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Khatibzadeh stated in an interview that the United States must ensure Israel complies with the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding reached between the US and Iran. Khatibzadeh said Iran is prepared to continue advancing diplomatic processes, "If the other side shows the same seriousness, we are also ready to move forward step by step." Regarding the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, Khatibzadeh stated that Iran will continue to provide navigation services in coordination with Oman and in accordance with international law. Within the 60-day period stipulated by the Memorandum of Understanding, Iran will not charge transit fees, but will subsequently introduce a new航道 management mechanism to be submitted to regional countries.
