Circle announces that its cross-chain transfer protocol CCTP now supports Stellar

Odaily reports that stablecoin issuer Circle has officially announced that its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) now supports the Stellar network. This upgrade enables developers to more easily transfer USDC between Stellar and other supported networks. Circle also released details on Stellar address handling mechanisms, the CctpForwarder contract design, and USDC precision rules on the Stellar network. Additionally, Circle has published a quick-start developer guide to help builders facilitate cross-chain USDC transfers and application integration on Stellar.
