Japanese and South Korean stock markets both turned downward

Odaily reports, according to Gate data, the Nikkei 225 index has fallen back below 71,000 points, down 0.11% intraday. South Korea's KOSPI index has lost the 9,000-point level, dropping 0.73% intraday, after briefly rising over 3% earlier.
