Odaily reported that sources have revealed Theodore Gillibrand, son of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, has raised $30 million for his derivatives trading platform, American Perpetuals Exchange, in a funding round led by Lux Capital.
According to reports, the platform plans to apply for relevant licenses from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and intends to launch perpetual futures products for stocks and stock indices, rather than cryptocurrency perpetual contracts. (Fortune)
