Japanese and South Korean stock indices opened higher

Odaily reported on June 19 (Friday) that according to Gate data, the Nikkei 225 index opened up 372.55 points, or 0.52%, at 71,426.04 points. The KOSPI index opened up 231.44 points, or 2.55%, at 9,295.28 points on June 19 (Friday). Samsung Electronics shares rose 3%.
