韩国金融委员会将于6月22日实施金融AI七大原则

Odaily Planet Daily News: The South Korean Financial Services Commission announced on the 18th that it will implement the revised "Artificial Intelligence Guidelines in the Financial Sector" starting June 22, applying to all financial companies and FinTech firms nationwide. The new guidelines target financial companies adopting AI, as well as FinTech firms influencing financial transactions, and establish seven core principles: governance, legality, subsidiarily, reliability, financial stability, fiduciary duty, and security.

The South Korean government plans to relax network isolation security regulations applicable to some financial institutions, improve the personal credit information consent system, anonymize data processing, and align related rules. It will also study rules regarding the responsibilities and authority of AI Agents, as well as dedicated AI regulatory plans. On the day the guidelines take effect, June 22, the Financial Supervisory Service will simultaneously release an AI Risk Management Framework for the financial sector, and the Korea Financial Security Institute will publish AI Security Guidelines for the financial sector.
