Thetanuts Responds to Security Incident: Affected Vault Is an Abandoned Contract, Not Related to Existing Products

Odaily Odaily reports that DeFi structured protocol Thetanuts Finance has issued a response regarding its Vault security incident. According to preliminary investigation, the relevant Vault was an old version contract that had been deprecated and migrated years ago, and has no connection with any contracts or products currently in operation. The investigation is ongoing, and a full post-mortem analysis will be released after more information is obtained.

Previously, Thetanuts Finance was suspected of being attacked, with preliminary estimated losses of approximately $2.1 million.
