Ripple invests in African fintech Flutterwave, the latter valued at approximately $3.3 billion

Odaily Planet Daily News: African fintech company Flutterwave has sold a portion of its equity to blockchain firm Ripple, valuing the company at $3.3 billion post-transaction.

Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola stated that the partnership aims to accelerate company growth through payment business expansion and strategic collaboration, but did not disclose Ripple's investment amount or equity stake. Flutterwave currently operates in 35 African countries. (Bloomberg)
