A whale shorted 44,000 ETH worth $78.89 million, currently facing an unrealized loss of $3.08 million

Odaily reported that according to on-chain analyst Ember's monitoring, a whale who recently shorted ETH has continued to short an additional 9,000 ETH after ETH's rebound. The whale borrowed 9,000 ETH from Aave, transferred them to Binance, and then withdrew 16.37 million USDT. The whale is currently shorting 44,000 ETH, worth $78.89 million, at an average short price of $1,702, with an unrealized loss of $3.08 million.
