U.S. memory chip and optical communications sectors collectively rose, with Micron Technology gaining over 7%

According to MSX.COM data, U.S. memory chip and optical communications sectors collectively climbed: Seagate Technology and Western Digital rose over 9%, Micron Technology gained over 7%, SanDisk increased over 5%, while Marvell Technology, Coherent, Qualcomm, and AMD rose over 4%, and Intel increased over 3%. SpaceX rose over 6%, following a surge of over 19% on its first trading day last Friday.
